The Egg – SpineTek

The Egg is an all-round board that is going to increase your wave count, be a breeze to paddle and make average wave days a lot more fun. It also comes with the amazing construction technology SPINE-TEK.
The low entry rocker works with the extra volume and width under the chest to make this the easiest paddling board in the Clayton range, it also helps the board plane across the dead sections of the wave. A little extra rocker in the tail works with the SPINE-TEK’s extra flex and the pulled in squash tail to give you sensitivity and extra performance.
A single to double concave runs through the bottom of the board for extra speed and has a vee off the tail for looseness under the back foot.
The Egg is a fun small wave shortboard that comes set up as a Thruster with a Futures fin system and is best for average days when you want to catch as many waves as possible.

SPINE-TEK

This Clayton Surfboard comes in the exclusively licensed technology SPINE-TEK. This tech is patented technology and only licensed to Clayton and Channel Islands Surfboard. It uses a precision moulded fibre spine that is engineered to deliver a higher level of strength, durability and flex to performance surfboards. The innovation enhances overall performance by using kinetic energy to inject the board with additional speed, power and flow.
